| Working in an impressionist and lyrical style, filmmaker Nicolaou combines a visual collage with freestyle story-telling to draw upon experiences of coming-to-terms with her mother’s multiple sclerosis and the lack of acceptance of homosexuality in her Macedonian family. The film’s metaphorical invitation to dance becomes a call to communicate, to celebrate and, ultimately, to accept. |
