| An intimate documentary about 2 Israeli lesbians, Belgian-born Joelle, whose family reluctantly accepts that she's a lesbian and who has been living in Tel Aviv for 11 years, but tired of the violence there, and Sigal, whose family is unaware of her lesbianism. They travel to and through Greece and eventually to the Greek island paradise of Mykonos, recording a travel diary, each expressing their own feelings as they observe one another and the world around them, in search for happiness and a more complete life, until a family tragedy, the death of Sigal’s father, draws them back to Israel. Joelle and Sigal have written and directed this documentary themselves. |
